Vicious Rumors' "A Tribute to Carl Albert" cd was recorded on our 1994 "Ultimate Power Force Tour" of Europe. The shows were recorded on 2 tracks from live room mics by the sound board. These recordings weren't originally intended to be released, but we thought it needed to be done. It was a gift to our fans and a testament to the legend that is Carl Albert! The performances were awesome, which makes up for the compromised recording quality. Carl was a truly gifted vocalist, and this cd like the other VR releases proves how amazing a talent he was. It also includes more unreleased demos of songs that were written during the "Word of Mouth" rehearsals. Original bassist Dave Starr is also on these demo tracks! This is a must have for all VR and metal fans. No one who knew or heard Carl Albert will ever forget the wonderful energy he gave us, both in life and in his music. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of him. Carl Albert lives forever!!!
